I don’t make $1,000 yet

I have made plenty of minisites and made money by getting traffic from Google Adwords, but now I am going to try to do it with organic traffic, from search engines.

I have researched a bunch on making minisites and I don’t think $1,000 a month is unreasonable at all. I will lay out exactly how I did everything. If I make $1000 per month that should help a lot of people to do the same. If I don’t make it, maybe I can get some feedback as to why, and people can learn from my mistakes as well.

There is no loss in creating one of these, except for maybe the $7 domain. I have a hosting account where I can host 25 domains, I just put them all on there. It is getting kind of slow, as you might have noticed though. So I am thinking about moving/upgrading.

I actually use blogspot to get backlinks (will talk about that later), I host the sites myself.

Ah Seinfeld! It is basically the same SEO but you really can not expect people to link to your minisite, so you gotta do a lot more link building.

What niche will your minisite be in? That really is the ultimate question. It’s not easy finding the perfect topic for a minisite. Especially one that you can put your heart and soul into, even if it is just a couple of pages. I believe that the best products and topics to push are ones that are near and dear to you. Things that you love and use and can really motivate people about.

I’ll be following this and seeing where it goes. I’m very interested in developing minisites. Maybe a coffee table book about coffee tables???
